Prior to the cremation process, we provide caring full-body preparation, including bathing, cosmetics, and dressing for dignified pre-cremation visitation. We offer private transportation for your loved one and work closely with Rabbis or Celebrants to create tailored religious or non-religious ceremonies that honor your loved one’s beliefs. Whether it’s a simple cremation or a celebration in one of our sanctuary spaces or on our grounds, we’re here to help you honor their memory.
We also offer assistance with scattering ashes by sea, air, or an alternative location of your choosing. Our partnerships with exceptional vendors ensure serene ocean scatterings aboard elegant yachts or memorable aerial scatterings with skilled pilots. Additionally, we manage the filing of death certificates, cremation permits, and the notification of the Social Security Administration. If your loved one was a veteran, we’ll ensure you receive all entitled benefits. To expedite the documentation process, we hand-deliver completed death certificate orders to the Health Department and retrieve them for you. You can then choose to collect the certificates from Hillside or have them sent by Certified Mail, FedEx, or hand-delivered within Los Angeles County.
