Since our founding, Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary has always had a singular mission: to help members of the Jewish and Interfaith communities honor and remember their loved ones in beauty, tranquility, and the comfort of Jewish traditions. Our caring and compassionate funeral professionals accomplish these goals by providing unparalleled service that addresses the unique needs of every family who arrives in our care.

Our Core Values

Tikkun Olam, or repairing the world, is a central and sacred value to us all at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary. As a community service of Temple Israel Hollywood, we see ourselves as an integral part of the fabric of Southern California's Jewish and Interfaith communities. We care for these communities with a continuous commitment to respect, dignity, integrity, diversity, quality, and kindness.

Dedicated to Our Community

Alongside events we hold throughout the year to embrace community members, we also offer education about Jewish mortuary and mourning practices, provide solace through grief counseling, and offer a communal Genizah to bury retired Torah scrolls and worn prayer books. All of these efforts are undertaken to share Jewish and interfaith values with the greater Los Angeles communities.
