Ruth Blanch Schwartz

June 28, 1922-April 9, 2016 Ruth Blanch Schwartz, loving and deeply loved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother died peacefully at home with her son Stuart and daughter-in-law Chelley at her side. Ruth was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Russian parents and married the love of her life, Oscar Schwartz in 1940. They lived most of their married life in West Los Angeles where they raised two children, Stuart and Renee. Ruth was passionate in her love of family and brought many lifelong friends into the circle of family devotion. She was a devoted caregiver, always ready to nurture, nurse, comfort, and attend to those who she loved. She is survived by her son, Stuart Schwartz, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Ozzie and Renee predeceased her. The family would like to thank Tess, Ruth’s caregiver, for bringing joy and a celebration of life to every day for the last nine years. Services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary Wednesday, April 13th.
