Rosalyn S. Klein

May 24, 1929 – June 9, 2021. Devoted wife of Morton Klein, mother of Henry Klein and Emily Klein, and grandmother of Jeremy Bogen and Alexis Bogen. Sister of Bennett Shapiro, she had many family and friends who loved her. Rosalyn grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and earned her undergraduate degree from Washington University. After moving with her family to Los Angeles in 1956, she was an elementary school teacher, and then obtained a doctorate in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She spent most of her working life as a psychologist and neurological evaluator at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. Rosalyn loved art, architecture and world travel. A private funeral will be held at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
