Richard Ellis Rosengarten

RICHARD ELLIS ROSENGARTEN, passed away peacefully at his West Hollywood home on May 6, 2021. Mr. Rosengarten, a Los Angeles area journalist, was widely known as editor and publisher of the popular “California Political Week” newsletter. Mr. Rosengarten, who was predeceased by his father and mother, Dr. and Mrs. Leonard Rosengarten of Bel-Air, California, is survived by his cousins. Dick was a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Dick’s family would like to thank his caregivers, Barbara Wilks and Kevin Trapp, and Mel Horowitz, his longtime friend and associate. Burial arrangements are supervised by Hillside Memorial Park in Los Angeles. Dick will be memorialized and interred privately at a family site in Marshall, Texas.
