Marie Levitan

Marie Levitan died July 16, 2022 at Cedar Sinai hospital, beloved mother of Paula and Steve Levitan and grandmother of Mia and Louis Levitan. Marie was 98. Services and burial at Hillside Memorial at 2 pm on July 19, 2022.

Marie was a Holocaust survivor and a war hero who saved many members of her family and friends through her bravery and selflessness. She moved to the United States in 1950 from Europe and lived in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Minneapolis, Detroit and New York but returned to Los Angeles, which she considered home, and has resided here since 1995. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
