Louise Rebecca Copeland

Louise Copeland (née Goldberg), 83, of Los Angeles, CA passed away on June 6, 2024.

Louise was born in St. Paul, MN to Hyman and May (Rom) Goldberg. She was the youngest of three and preceded in death by beloved husband, Mark, her parents and siblings Nancy Calvin and Marly Goldberg. While Louise was devastated by Mark’s passing she continued to make a positive impact while remaining close to family and friends.

Louise was an accomplished and beloved teacher having received many awards and accolades. Her biggest achievements were in the relationships she cultivated, many lasting a lifetime. Her students continued to reach out to her and remained connected throughout her life. Following her retirement she opened Louise Copeland’s Tutoring Thyme in Brentwood and remained seeing students until 2 years ago.
Louise is survived by her adored dog, Buddy, step-son, Craig, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. The outpouring of heartfelt stories has been comforting.
