Louis Rosenberg

Louis Rosenberg , April 1, 1923 – July 5, 2016 Born in Romania, he came to the United States at 6 months of age and was raised in New York City. He proudly served in the 89th Infantry Division in World War II. After discharge in 1946, he met and married the love of his life, Anne Goldfinger. They married and moved to Los Angeles where he attended school and became an optometrist. He worked as an optometrist even after retirement by volunteering to work at various programs at UCLA. He is survived by Dr. Bradley Rosenberg (JoAnn) and Ronald Rosenberg (Karen Sloane), along with his two favorite people, his grandsons, Joshua and Andrew. The family is asking that donations be made to “JSEI Affiliates” in memory of Dr. Lou Rosenberg for Preschool Vision Screenings. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park.
