Karin was loved and everyone enjoyed her childlike spirit – open to all possibilities – love of song, creativity and performance. She took advantage of every opportunity to enjoy creative adventure. Who could ask for more? Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Queens, Karin is survived by her parents Abe and Evelyn Cohen, her older sister Amy, brother in law Chris, niece Sophie, nephew Scott, aunts, uncle and cousins; her partner and boyfriend Harry, her cherished cats, and so many close friends, too numerous to mention. When Karin got ill, the love and support of Harry and these friends enveloped her to carry her forward for as long as she could. Our special thanks go to her medical and emotional support staff at Cedars Sinai, Michael and her coworkers, and especially to Jim and to Lana who have been helping the family with this burden, we are forever grateful. A Jewish service will be held on Sunday April 16, at 1 pm Hillside Memorial Chapel 6001 W. Centinella Ave. followed by a gathering at the nearby Courtyard Marriott 6333 Bristol Parkway Culver City Memorial donations to any Ovarian Cancer Research program would be very appreciated. We love you Karin.
