Karen Joan Rosenthal passed away peacefully in Los Angeles on Wednesday, February 2. Karen was born in New York City on October 10, 1946 and was the only child of her beloved father, Werner H. Rosenthal and mother Dagmar Rosenthal, both of who had immigrated to the United States from Germany at the start of WWII.

Karen earned an M.B.A from New York University Stern School of Business, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from New York University and a B.A. from New York University.

She went onto have a very prolific career in executive recruitment and executive coaching for nearly 50 years between New York and Los Angeles. She founded her own company, Transforming Human Capital, where she was a successful executive search consultant, organizational development strategist and coach to Chairmen, Boards of Directors, Chief Executive Officers and their senior management teams seeking to drive and institutionalize strategic change within their organizations.

Karen’s experience as a search consultant and executive coach within the entertainment industry and traditional and digital media worlds, allowed her to work with the likes of: Facebook, LinkedIn, Vox Media, NBCUniversal, Disney-ABC Television Group, CBS, MTV Networks, AMC Networks, Discovery Networks, PBS, Sony Corporation of America, IBM, American Express, Citigroup, Charles Schwab, Visa, The National Geographic Society and National Geographic Partners.
