Judith Louise Sherman

Judy Sherman passed away January 18, 2023 at home surrounded by loved ones.  She was born in New York to Emmanuel and Marian Brownstein.  She met her husband Bert in New York and they were married in September of 1976, shortly followed by a move to Los Angeles.  She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Bert Sherman, as well as her children Ivie Sherman and Matthew (Stephanie) Sherman and her beloved grandchildren Blake and Sloane.

Judy was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana.  She worked for decades as a legal secretary and volunteered at her temple and at Paws of Love, which brings the unconditional love of dogs to people in need. She loved cooking, being active either by going on walks with Bert or by taking gym classes, traveling to National Parks, and spending time with family and friends.

Judy was a sweet, caring, joyful, and loving person to all. She was a strong and steadfast beam of light and positivity with a compassionate spirit. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.  May her memory be a blessing.
