Jodie Rosenthal was born to David and Sybil (née Hardin) in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada on April 5, 1944. Her family moved to the US when she was 3yo and settled in Long Beach, CA where she grew up and went to college at CSULB. She had 2 brothers, Henry and Melton, both of whom have predeceased her.
Jodie's career path took her into exciting world of advertising sales, working with big names including all the major TV networks, Disney, and more for over 30 years. She loved the challenges of the job, as well as the fun and social aspects that went along with it. As an advertising exec, she was also able to combine work with one of her flairs in life, fashion! She took pride in her appearance and was always dressed to impress. She was our little fashionista!
Jodie loved animals of all kinds and was a loyal ambassador for her social media Anipals group. This brought her together with people all over the world, rarely meeting, but connecting on a personal level through the love they all shared for their fur-babies.
Jodie was married 3x and found the love of her life in her 3rd husband Arnold Rubinoff who predeceased her by 7 years. Together, they traveled the world enjoying life. As an amateur photographer, and Arnold being a professional one, they celebrated their love of life together in photos with an emphasis on 2 of their favorite places, the south of France and Death Valley, USA.
Jodie did not have children of her own but surrounded herself with a family of close friends. In addition to her chosen family, Jodie is survived by; a stepdaughter - Gia from California, a stepdaughter-in-law Melanie from Alabama, her husband Pat and children Hannah and CJ; a stepdaughter - Nicole from California, her husband Tony and son, McKenna; a stepson - Ron from California, his wife Missy and 2 children, Emily and Joshua; and many cousins from the US. to Canada to Israel.
