Joan Lewis Denson

Dr. Joan Lewis Denson, (1937-2022), beloved and cherished wife of Dr. Victoria Berck for 50 years. Devoted and loving mother of David (Maryann) Denson.
She was the adored and much-loved sister of Arnold Lewis and sister-in-law of Fonda Lewis. Proud and loving ‘Auntie Joan’ of Rebecca (Carl Fleisher) Lewis and Jeffrey (Veronica Castro) Lewis, and dearest great-aunt of Charlotte and Bennett Fleisher. Precious friend of Loly. She was a treasured friend and colleague of many.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, she was a gifted and accomplished Psychologist, published Author of “Except For One Little Problem”, and dedicated Teacher. She touched and impacted hundreds of lives. Joan was committed and supportive of her Jewish faith and Israel.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory is truly a blessing, and she will live on in our hearts forever.
Services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary, 6001 W. Centinela Ave., Los Angeles, CA. 90045, on Monday, July 18, 2022, at 12:00pm noon.
