Iris Glickman

Iris Ann Markman Helman Glickman was born on July 5, 1941, in Los Angeles and died after a brief illness on September 5, 2024, in Palm Springs. Iris was a 1959 graduate of Hamilton High School, as well as a longtime and active resident of Sun City Palm Desert. Iris is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a brother, and her husband, Alden Glickman. She is survived by the four wonderful children she shares with Barry Helman: Andrew (Lorie), Stacy (Patrick), Brad (Janine), and Marc (Su Kyung); twelve beautiful grandchildren: Shai (Patrick), Hunter, Tess (Patrick), Gunnar, Max, Ivy, Noah, Izzy, J., Wyatt, Ryder, and Liam, two precious great-grandsons: Beck and Beau, cherished family: Vicki (Barry), Jordan (Jana), and Jilly (Kristin), and her beloved felines: Bella and Boots. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, an organization Iris passionately and actively supported.
