Howard Steve Martin

Howard passed away peacefully after a prolonged bout with Lewy Body Disease as he wished in his own home.
He was a real Renaissance Man. He loved books, literature, art, tennis, running, the Beatles, his mom Shirley, his niece Nicole and his friends.
He grew up in the San Fernando Valley and returned there after serving his country in the Viet Nam War as a medic.
After graduating from UCLA he chose instead of teaching to return to school and became a registered nurse.
His practice focused on psychiatric care of the veterans at the VA Hospital for 30 years. We will miss his dry humor, kindness and friendship.
