Frieda Levit

Frieda Rothstein Levit, originally from Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 in Los Angeles, CA, 4 months before her 101st birthday. Her memorial service will be at Hillside Memorial Park in Culver City, CA at 2:00pm on Thursday, August 4th. With friends and family living both near and far, we will live-stream her service-both from the sanctuary and from graveside-so that you can be with us however you’re able. If you’ll be joining us at Hillside, we’ll be celebrating Frieda’s life with a reception immediately following the service on the patio behind the sanctuary. Frieda’s husband of 58 years, Harold, passed away in 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Levit Friedman (Mark), son Barry Levit (Jody), grandchildren Dan Friedman (Kristin) of St. Louis, Ellie Friedman Sacks of Phoenix, Casey Levit and Timothy Levit of Fairbanks, Alaska. Also by her great-grandchildren Rebecca, Sarah and Adam Friedman, Leah and Justin Sacks, Kyra, Ava and Jack Levit, and Caiden.
