Faye Zacky, beloved by her family and friends, was born November 2, 1922, in Los Angeles, first-born daughter of Louis Schnitzer and Bessie Miller. She lived in Boyle Heights during her school years. In 1948, after WWII, Faye met and married Harry Zacky (1919-1986). They had three children; Diane, Chuck, and Joe.
Faye was caring, generous, and charitable to her friends and her family. She was very active as a volunteer in ORT America. At age 55, Faye went back to work where she had a 15-year career at State Farm. She loved to travel and has visited Germany, Alaska, Mexico, Turkey, Hong Kong, the Panama Canal, the Bahamas, Hawaii, Budapest, Paris, Vienna and other places. She took the extended family on many wonderful vacations.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, and her three sisters, Dorothy, Dina, and Bertha. She is survived by her three children, Diane, Chuck, and Joe; her grandchildren Mark, Christopher, and Sarah; her great-grandchildren, Skylar, Mason, Kharma, and Maddox; and daughters-in-law, Judy and Margaret.
Faye passed away at home on June 24 with her family by her side. She was 95 years old.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 29, at Hillside Memorial Park Mortuary in Los Angeles.
