Estelle Tuvman, age 97, passed away peacefully. Born in Springfield, MA, to immigrant parents from Lithuania, she worked as a fashion illustrator for a large department store. She moved to LA in 1952 with her now deceased husband, Bernie where they settled in WLA and raised sons, Ken (Annie) and Paul (Chip). She was Grandma to Adam (Christina), Isaac (Lea) and (4) great-grandkids, Faith, Jaxson, Myles, Shane. In 1965, she enrolled in college and earned a master’s degree in public health.

Career: educator for special needs kids, member services director at Kaiser. Later in life, she picked up her paintbrush and produced a large volume of brilliant watercolors and collages. An advocate for women’s rights and equality for all, Estelle was hard-working, honest, and smart. She instilled the importance of education, art, and music appreciation, hard work, and strong core values. Services at Hillside Memorial Park, Culver City CA at 12pm.
