Claire Berman Grossberg

Claire Berman Grossberg, an exceptionally warm and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, died April 20, 2016 peacefully at her home. She was 83.
Claire Carlin was born on August 28th, 1932 in Los Angeles, Ca. to Lillian and Irving Carlin. She had one sister, Ree. She married Neil Berman in 1957 and together they raised two beautiful daughters, until his passing in 1984. In 1989 she married Alan Grossberg with whom she created a vibrant life until his passing in 2012.
Claire is survived by her daughters, Cindy Collins of Santa Clarita, Ca and son-in-law Clayton Collins; Ileene Lazar of Santa Barbara, Ca. and son-in-law Michael Lazar. Her grandchildren; Ryan Collins and wife Cara Caso Collins; Leslie Collins Ryan and husband Michael Ryan; Rachel Collins and fiancé Steven Bennett, all of Santa Clarita, Ca.; Sarah Lazar of New York, NY. and Austin Lazar of Winter Park, Fl.
She is also survived by her stepchildren; Susan Grossberg Weinstein and husband Jeff of Lake Elsinore, Ca.; Jeffrey Grossberg and wife Sheri of West Hills, Ca.; grandson Blake Weinstein of Lake Elsinore, Ca. and granddaughter Alyssa Grossberg of West Hills, Ca.
A memorial service and internment will take place this Sunday at 3:00 at the Hillside Memorial Park, 6001 W. Centinella Ave., Los Angeles, Ca. A reception will follow at The Sportsmen’s Lodge, 12825 Ventura Blvd., Studio City, Ca.
