Carole Glover

Carole Glover passed on January 4, 2023, with her husband Sorrell and loved ones by her side in Los Angeles, California.
Carole was born July 31, 1936, in Los Angeles, CA, to parents Alfred Gainsley and Regina Diana Gainsley. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara Scheinman and husband Ronald Scheinman. She graduated from University High School, Los Angeles and attended Santa Monica City College.
Carole was a loving mother and grandmother, who led an active life with her husband of 45 years. Together they adventure traveled the world, visiting all 7 continents. She enjoyed active sports: hiking, trekking, tennis, swimming, skiing, and dance. She was a water aerobics instructor and a docent at the Los Angeles Zoo. At home, she loved to garden, read, do puzzles, cook, and play bridge. She enjoyed art, music, lectures, and learning.
Carole is survived by her loving husband Dr. Sorrell Glover; daughter, Maya Drummond (spouse, Brian); daughter, Melinda Russell; daughter, Brenda Tamar Landau (spouse, Roy Camarillo); son, Kenneth Landau (spouse, Sonda); son, Jason Landau; stepson, Bradley Glover (spouse, Debra); stepson, Keith Glover; and stepdaughter, Kara Glover; as well as her 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at Hillside Memorial Park, Monday, January 9.
