Beverly Sue Roth

January 28, 1935 – December 27, 2021

Beverly passed away quietly at Adventist Health Center in Simi Valley, California on December 27, 2021, at the age of 86 from natural causes.

Beverly was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Mortimer and Sylvia Steel. At the age of 13 in 1948, her family, along with their dog Queenie, drove across the country to live in sunny Los Angeles, California. She married her husband, Lewis in 1957. Mother of three loving children: Stephen, Gary and Lauren, and daughters-in-law: Carol and Tiffany. She was also a devoted grandmother to seven grandchildren: Tyler, Jonathan, Tessa, Rachel, Brandon, Collin and Parker, nieces – Sari and Jana Steel, and brother-in-law Randy. She was preceded in death by her loving brother Bertram Steel and sister-in-law Suzanne.

A graduate of UCLA’s Home Economic department, Beverly majored in Clothing and Textiles and designed fashion apparel for her friends and family. She loved all animals, traveling, bowling and playing mahjong with friends. She also enjoyed hosting dinner parties, family gatherings, cooking and baking.

Private services will be held only for the immediate family due to COVID restrictions. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Beverly’s name to the charity of your choice.
