Beryl S Seegel

Beryl “Bud” Salbert Seegel, age 93, died on Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. He was born July 17, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio. Beryl served in the Army during WWII, graduated from Case Western Reserve, and had a distinguished career in consulting electrical and mechanical engineering. Among his many accomplishments, Beryl was honored as the Constuction Industry of Los Angeles Man of the Year. He was also a member of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center building committee. Beryl’s other interests included travel, sports and camping. He is survived by son Mark (Heather) Seegel, daughter Barbara (John) Angaiak, grandson Caleb (Audrey) Phillips, granddaughter Samantha (Owen) Miller, great grandchildren Hunter, Addie, Charlotte Phillips and companion Harriette Powells-Spero. Beryl was preceded in death by wife Josephine Seegel, daughter Lynne Phillips, parents Samuel and Ida Seegel and sister Fay Singer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 2pm at Hillside Memorial Park Mortuary.
