Mother's Day Remembrance Service

Celebrating Their Love
Mother's Day Remembrance Service
Mother's Day looks different for everyone. For some, it means brunch reservations and flowers. For others, it means a quiet moment of remembrance, a photograph on a nightstand, a name spoken softly into the morning.
At Hillside Memorial Park, we understand that grief and gratitude often arrive together on days like this. That is why we are honored to host a special Mother's Day Remembrance Service dedicated to the women who shaped us, the mothers who are no longer here but whose love, wisdom, and spirit remain woven into everything we do and everything we are.
This year's service will take place on Sunday, May 10, at 10:00 AM in the Large Sanctuary at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary.
We are honored to welcome Rabbi Cantor Alison Wissot of Temple Judea and Cantor Ilan Davidson of Temple Beth El, joined by composer Bob Remstein and musical accompaniment, to lead this beautiful service of song, prayer, and remembrance.
Refreshments will be served. The park will remain open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and a florist will be on-site for those who wish to leave flowers with a loved one.
Following the service, Certified Grief Educator Maggi Scharf, M.Ed., CPCC, will facilitate an intimate gathering where attendees are invited to share stories, memories, and support with one another.
Whether you are visiting the park or simply looking for a place to pause and remember, we welcome you to join us. Come as you are. Bring your memories. Let us mark this day together. We look forward to honoring the mothers who made us who we are.

For those who are unable to join us in person, a livestream will be available to view the service: hillsidememorial.livecontrol.tv/9c745c7d
