Ramiro Fauve Mural: Acacia Gardens

Ramiro Fauve’s mural, “To Be With You,” captures meaningful moments in the lives of couples and families.

“The idea for the image design came to me in a song as I was driving to Hillside for a pre-design meeting. The song was about love, companionship, relationships, mutual respect and admiration, which became the theme I used for these murals. It seemed mandatory that my murals would complete a kind of melody, harmony and tempo that went along with the Kent Twitchell piece that was already there,” the artist said.

Fauve has been painting, animating and designing artwork for 22 years. Among his high-profile murals are the 400-foot-long Los Angeles Marathon mural on the I-10 freeway and the 70 _ 60-foot Nike/Bo Jackson mural at Hollywood and Vine featured in “Pretty Woman.” Other of Fauve’s paintings have bee seen on Telemundo and ABC’s “Extreme Makeover Home Edition.”

He is currently a featured artist of Brainworks, Inc. Past clients include Nike, Reebok, Pepsi, Bank of America, Weiden and Kenedy and LucasFilms.
